Research Interest
Western Marxism, literary theory, and aesthetic anthropology. The first to raise the concepts “Chinese Marxist Aesthetics” and “Aesthetic Anthropology” in the academic circles in China. Top in the field of Marxist aesthetics, the theory of aesthetic illusion and ideology, the problematic and theory of Chinese Marxist aesthetics, and aesthetic anthropology based on Marxism. Four monographs, ninety-five academic articles, one translation, and two kinds of teaching material have been published.
